Shaolin Kung Fu - Chin Na

Capture skills (Chin Na) are a kind of close combat skills used to overcome the enemy with skillful movements and ingenious use of strength. The basic principle in capturing the enemy is to seize a certain joint in the enemy,s limbs in order to have total control not only of a part of his body but also of his entire body, before you finally 'tie' him up.

Sucessful mastering depends on daily practice, because Chin Na techniques require a high level of knowledge about the human body, the energy flows, and the pressure points. Only through repeated practice can the combatant make a correct judgement of the situation, seize the best opportunity and reach perfection in an actual combat.
