Mei Hua Quan (Plum Blossom Boxing)

The Shaolin 'Mei Hua Quan' form, which means 'Plum Blossom Boxing' is a very traditional, and one of the oldest still excisting Shaolin boxing forms. It's about 1500 years old. The Mei Hua Quan form consists of a lot of the movements that look a lot like the modern wushu's Chang Quan form. Mei Hua Quan is a very complete form.

In this style we also see weapon froms like the ´Mei Hua Gun´ (plum blossom stick), and the ´Mei Hua Dao´(plum blossom broadsword).
