& Ronald - Thailand Trip 2007 - Intro 02 - ´The Idea´
 ...There
are so many beautiful destinations there, but a few that were
definately scheduled were ´Koh Phi Phi Le´ (a.k.a. Phi Phi Lay)
where the movie ´The Beach´ with Leonardo Di Caprio´was shot... (The
famous beach is called ´Ao Maya´, meaning ´Maya Beach´...)
Other
planned destinations were ´Koh Phay´, better
known as ´Bamboo Island´, just north east of ´Phi Phi Don´...
Not too
far away from ´Bamboo Island´ 'Koh Yung', the ´Mosquito Island´is another of
our scheduled islands...
 From
there on it doesn´t stop... check the ´thailand > destinations > other
islands near Phuket´ section for the other great islands we want
to explore.... because it only gets better.. every island you explore
in this part of Thailand has got its own characteristics... and all
of them are paradise on earth !
From
there on the idea would be to get back to Phuket with a longtailboat,
and from there on to take either the bus, or an airplane, to the town
called Ranong...
From
Ranong on we could further explore Thailand´s paradise destinations
by hopping on to either the 'Phayam' island, or to the 'Chang' island...
(Often referred to as the 'other' Chang Island, because the Chang
island in the Gulf of Thailand is more known...)
These
islands are the less tourism-invaded-islands of the Andaman sea...
still pretty quiet and authentic...
...After
our stay on these beautiful islands the idea was to head
back to Bangkok by plane... then stay in Bangkok another few days and fly back to
Frankfurt, Germany...
....During
either our stay near Phuket, or during our stay on the Islands near
Ranong, visiting the Similan island was planned as well...
